Blokes On Bikes

8 big hearted Police Officers from Alexandria Police Office, Strathclyde are doing a charity cycle from Dumfries to Inverness over 4 days  (18 – 23 May 2008) visiting every Force HQ and Scottish Police College on route.

The main recipient of the target figure of £20,000 is

CHAS  - Children’s Hospice Association Scotland which have 2 hospices Rachel House in Kinross and Robin House at Balloch. (CHAS logo)

Some of the monies will also put in trust for the two young sons of a Grampian Officer who is very ill having recently been diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumour.

The ‘Blokes on Bikes’ will arrive at Grampian Police Headquarters about 4.30pm on Wednesday 21 May 2008 and will head off for Inverness the following day about 9.30am.  Chief Constable Colin McKerracher will host a welcome meal for the cyclists. Diced Cap fully commends the event and will donate monies in support.
